For many golfers, the fall season is one of the most, if not the most, popular time of year to spend the day golfing. It is not too hot and not too cold, you can enjoy stunning scenery on the course and a lot of times you can find great deals on courses! There are a lot of beautiful locations in New England to golf during the fall season, however, Cape Cod definitely stands as one of the best places to spend a day out on the course. The Cape is filled with so many wonderful attractions during the fall that you can enjoy (with less tourist traffic!) and is also home to some of the most scenic and aesthetically pleasing golf courses around. Not to mention, there is a great climate down the Cape all year long, which makes it easier to play golf for even longer than normal. With more than 40 total courses, beautiful waterfront views and delicious seafood, what more could you ask for? Here are some of our favorite courses to check out next time you are down the Cape:
- Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club. At Ocean Edge, there are a total of five sets of tees, so no matter what level golfer you are, you can enjoy the game! Whether you are a member of the club or you are a guest at the resort, you are able to golf on their upgraded greens, which lengthen out to over 7,000 yards total.
- Dennis Pines. At Dennis Pines, you will be challenged on how well you can achieve your target, but who doesn’t love a good challenge every once in a while? This course is one of the longest golf courses on the Cape.
- Highland Links. This course is one of America’s most historical golf courses, as it overlooks the Atlantic next to the vintage Cape Cod light and is Cape Cod’s oldest course. It is also known as one of the most scenic courses down the Cape!
